November 25th, 2012 - Had only a morning at Lake Tahoe. I sincerely hoped for some clouds that could blaze the sky red !!. At about 5:50 AM peeked out of window. First glimpse of dawn! No colors as yet but the pattern of clouds told me that early risers would be treated with love!! Had my gear ready the night before. It was very cold outside, about -5 degrees Celsius. Packed myself and hurried to the shore. Had the whole beach to myself. My only companions were some ducks who began their day early. The initial pink streaks turned to deep red just before sunrise! I set my tripod at one location and took the pictures once a while, careful to enjoy photography as well as the vistas, not letting the former overshadow the experience of latter.
